- Located in Santa Ana, this hidden gem offers canopy trails, hiking trails, and coffee tours. Blue Flag certified and Rainforest Alliance certified, their delicious coffee, gallopinto, and landscapes can make for an adventurous plan or a romantic getaway.
- Next ahead, we will drive through beautiful landscapes and a green scenery all the way to Tamarindo in Guancaste. Although not our final destination, Tamarindo or its surrounding are a great place to settle base. Here, we will head to the beach – but not just any beach. Thirty minutes out from Tamarindo, you will find Playa Puerto Viejo, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Enjoy the sun, the sea, paddleboarding and snorkeling, while soaking up the sun the pacific ocean. Be sure to visit other hidden beaches nearby such as Pirate’s Beach or Playa Minas.
- After a few days of soaking up the sun, we will head across the country to the state of Limon. (We know the trip sounds tedious but remember our across the country is, at most, a five-hour long drive). Once in the Caribbean Coast, we will skip the beach for a few days and head to Puerto Viejo. Specifically, to stroll through the colorful streets, and try some delicious Caribbean cuisine. There is a before and after once you’ve tasted Caribbean rice and beans, we promise. After a couple days of delicious meals, maybe some street basketball or soccer, be sure to enjoy Cahuita National Park as well. As you step into the park, you’ll be greeted by the rhythmic sounds of waves crashing against the shore and the vibrant colors of the coral reefs just a short distance from the beach. For snorkelers and scuba diving enthusiasts, the park’s coral reefs provide a vibrant underwater world teeming with colorful fish and marine creatures. And the best part is the beach close to shore feels like a humongous pool.
- Lastly, we will wrap up or adventure Monteverde. And yes, you’ve probably already been there and done that, but have you really? Have you ever done glamping at Monteverde? We thought so. Spend endless nights in a five thousand star hotel, away from the hustle of the city. Enjoy breakfast at sunrise, or dinner surrounded by the lush Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, known as a haven for nature lovers, boasting a diverse range of flora and fauna.
